The 2019 Proprietary Red Mekerra is another gorgeous wine from Philippe and Cherie Melka. Deep, rich and explosive, the 2019 possesses tremendous depth and tons of character that comes to the fore with time in the glass. Cherry, plum, mocha and soaring Franc aromatics give the 2019 its alluring personality. The tannins need a few years to soften, but the 2019 is so compelling, even today.
