Producer's Notes

Alipus San Andres is a high quality Mezcal.  The land around Don Valente’s destileria is a high rolling plateau at some 5000 feet, which gives this Mezcal a particularly interesting taste. The soil is mostly shale, which is not typically good for growing vegetation of any kind. Don Valente’s Mezcals have unusually well-defined flavors and aromas, and this Mezcal is no different.  He is the Mezcalero behind many different blends and all of his Mezcals carry his unique flavor.
