I love the extremely complex, floral nose that ranges from spring blossoms to jasmine. Sleek and racy on the medium-bodied palate with so much minerality and energy. Uplifting freshness at the finish. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Riesling Federspiel Steinterrassen comes partly from the Gaisberg in Wösendorf. The wine opens fine and flinty on the delicate, very precise and stimulating nose. Round and juicy on the palate, this is a salty, refined and stimulating classic Federsiel with a lively character and stimulating finish. Medium-bodied but light and fresh, this is a salty-piquant and refreshing GV. Excellent. 12% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in June 2021.
