From the most beautiful plot of our vineyards, called by generations of farmers "Campo del Guardiano", this selection of Orvieto Classico Superiore is born, which is aged for several months in bottles lying down in a cavity in the tuff under a chestnut wood.

The complexity of the aromas and the freshness of the fruit remain intact over the years, demonstrating its surprising capacity for aging.

The 2018 Orvieto Campo del Guardiano mixes sour green melon with honeyed florals and sweet almond to create an alluring bouquet. It’s silky and pliant in feel, enveloping the palate in ripe orchard fruits as a mix of acid and mineral tension builds toward the close. This finishes long and spicy yet also wonderfully refreshing, as lime zest tapers off under an air of tropical florals. The Campo del Guardiano is a captivating blend of 50% Procanico, 25% Grechetto, 15% Verdello and 10% Malvasia.
