Over the years, the highest elevations of our vineyard at the farthest eastern and western edges have expressed captivating tones and textures rarely seen in Pinot Noir. Tropical notes weave their way through lithe texture and vibrant acidity, creating a wine that defies traditional notions of what the grape variety can and should be. As the treble to Luxuria's bass, the 2021 Passiflora captures the most ethereal and eccentric voice of Antiquum Farm in a stunningly elegant profile. True to the spirit of the vineyard, this wine is a Pinot Noir unlike any other.
A rich, sweet perfume of macerated strawberries and lilacs is accented by wisps of boysenberry and a chestnut tart. The Passiflora is medium bodied, with massive tannic structure, elevated acidity and flavors like blueberries, black tea and dark chocolate.
