Blackberries with refined black spices, cedar and walnuts on the nose. A medium-to full-bodied, tightly knit palate with velvety tannins and solid black and blue fruit. Very long, polished and complete. Drink or hold.

Vinous: 93 Points

The 2019 Tinta del País Finca El Otero from Ribera del Duero aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. Displaying a purple hue, the liqueur-like aroma also features balsamic and minty notes alongside hints of blackberry and cherry. Dry, intense and fairly structured on the palate, the substantial and ripe mouthfeel lingers long, concluding with a long-lasting and flavorful finish. This wine serves as a prime example of the intensity and nuance that Ribera del Duero can deliver.
