Ultra-pure aromas of cool essence of red pinot fruit are trimmed in plenty of floral elements along with hints of exotic tea. The vibrant and utterly delicious flavors aren't as dense or powerful yet they are much, much finer with ample minerality as well, all wrapped in a youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. A wine of finesse that should age effortlessly.

The 2022 Vosne-Romanée La Montagne has a similar bouquet to the Les Hautes Maizières, just a tad more intensity though, still exuding that sense of Pinoté. The medium-bodied palate has a lovely crunchy entry, a little more peppery in style with gentle grip on the understated finish.
