The Boucard family produces this lovely Cabernet Franc rosé from the sandy soils around their home and winery in the central Loire. Pretty and elegant, with a taste of fresh peaches and nectarines, it is perfect for your summer table.
The 2022 Rosé opens with a dusty blend of cracked slate and chalk before giving way to herbal-tinged wild strawberries. Silky and enveloping, this washes across the palate with ripe orchard fruits and melon tones excited by vibrant acidity. It finishes wonderfully fresh, leaving behind apricot notes and a slight staining of salty minerals.
