An elegant version, with the fine, airy mousse tempering the impact of the chiseled acidity and together creating a fine frame for notes of roasted pistachio, baked yellow peach and candied pink grapefruit peel. Everything is underscored by a streak of salinity that pushes through on the finish, joining accents of white blossoms, ground ginger and anise. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
A blend of 40% Pinot Noir (5% of which is red wine from the village of Les Riceys), 35% Chardonnay, and the rest Meunier, the NV Champagne Reserve Brut Rosé pours a medium salmon/pink color. The nose is layered, fruity, and inviting, with aromas of crushed strawberries, fresh baked croissant, marzipan, and floral perfume. This carries to the palate, which is balanced with a round and chalky mouthfeel, a spritely mousse, and notes of grapefruit citrus through the finish. It offers a wide drinking window for enjoying now or over the coming 7-8 years.
Aromas of strawberries, white peach, baked bread, red berries and gingerbread introduce the NV Rosé Réserve, a medium to full-bodied, enrobing and round Champagne with a satiny attack, a fleshy and vinous mid-palate framed by lively acids and a mouthwatering, strawberries-inflected finish. This is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir (including 5% as red wine sourced from Les Riceys), 35% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier with a dosage of eight grams per liter.
