Blackcurrants, green tobacco, cedarwood, and hints of spicy wood all emerge from the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford, a medium-bodied, nicely textured, balanced Cabernet with solid tannins and excellent length on the finish. It shows the more streamlined, elegant style of the vintage, yet the tannins are ripe and well-managed. It's another well-made wine in the lineup.
