A juicy, well-made and lively red. It shows notes of dark cherries, warm herbs and baking spices. It's medium-bodied with velvety tannins and texture. Serious and well driven, with a core of spiced cherries and dark chocolate challenged by a kick of peppercorns and grilled herbs on the palate. Lively and full of life.

Slightly darker hued, the 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Terre D’Argile has more black raspberry and darker cherry notes as well as lots of spicy herbs, flowers, and garrigue-like nuances. Wonderfully textured, medium to full-bodied, with a kiss of background oak, this rock star Côtes Du Rhône should be purchased by the case.
