This Burgundian beauty exudes charm and intensity with ripe fruits, bright aromatics, and the structure to age gracefully. It's a welcome introduction to an exciting year in Burgundy and an ideal choice for your Easter table! Sourced from a 1ha plot in Volnay with vines aged 35–75 years on deep clay and limestone, the grapes are fully de-stemmed and fermented in concrete and stainless steel to preserve their freshness. Aged for 12 months in used oak, the wine reveals notes of red flowers, cherries, currants, and a hint of earth, chalk, and white pepper, all backed by soft, round tannins and a lively texture. Jean-Marc Bouley established his domaine in Volnay in 1974, and his son Thomas has been crafting the wines since 2012 using non-interventionist biodynamic methods that yield grapes small in size yet big on flavor and complexity. We love the results and we think you will too! - Ryan Tedder
