James Suckling: 93 Points

Lemons, crushed stones, thyme and fresh pears on the nose, with some saltines and shortbread. Fantastic freshness here, with a persistent salty minerality and so much energy. Medium-bodied but intense and compact. Drink or hold.

Vinous: 93 Points

The 2021 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat Les Quarts, which comes from the Bret's prized plots of 50-80 years old east-facing vines, has a beautifully-defined bouquet with light estuarine/oyster shell scents percolating through the malic fruit. The palate is very well balanced with plenty of substance (more than the preceding Longeays), fanning out wonderfully on the finish. Proper PouillyFuissé.
