The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Vogelzang Vineyard comes from more gravelly loam soils and was brought up in French oak barrels (22% new). It's another beautiful, exotic expression of the variety, with notes of orange blossom, honeyed minerality, acacia flowers, baking spices, and hints of brioche. It too is rich, textured, and wonderfully balanced, with bright acidity and outstanding length. Both single vineyard releases are some of finest expressions of Sauvignon coming out of the Central Coast today.

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Vogelzang Vineyard is dense, textured and inviting. Here too, the intensity of the year has pushed the wine into the more tropical realm, but there is good energy too, plus a translucent feel that keeps the wine from feeling too heavy. Butter, apple tart and dried flowers linger on the close.
