The 2020 Barolo Unoperuno is a blend of top sites, fruit from Cannubi, Arborina, Cerretta, Pernanno, Sarmassa and Bricco Ambrogio, all handdestemmed. Silky and floral, with mid-weight structure, the 2020 is quite open in the early going. Bright, red-toned fruit, mint, spice, cedar, tobacco and incense all build effortlessly in the glass. This is beautifully done and wonderfully exotic.
