James Suckling: 95 Points

Aromas of spiced cherries, wild strawberries and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with creamy tannins. Concentrated and brooding on the palate. A dried-floral note comes through. Great intensity and length. Good aging potential. Best after 2023.

Vinous: 94 Points

Vivid ruby-red. Pungent, mineral-accented red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by suggestions of five-spice powder, dark chocolate and candied flowers. Chewy and appealingly sweet, offering finely tuned black raspberry, cherry and violet pastille flavors sharpened by a smoky mineral flourish. Shows fine clarity and floral thrust on the energetic finish, which is framed by steadily building tannins
