Caillottes are small chalky pebbles that form the terroir after which this cuvée is named, and the resulting wine from the 2021 growing season is round and dense. A little reductive when tasted with lots of flinty character focusing on elderflower and citrus flavors, it's immediately impressive for its weight and volume with an attractive structure. However, it doesn't quite have the persistence nor the intensity to match.
