Herbal with fennel, subtle nectarines and white peaches. The fresh, angular palate has a seductive, velvety sense of fruit and texture complemented by linear acidity. Elegant mineral finish. Savory, delicious and very long. Sourced from vineyards around Valdecanada. Aged in amphorae. Drink now or hold.
 

Vinous: 94 Points

The 2022 Doña Blanca MA hails from Villafranca del Bierzo. It was sourced from old vines in Las Gundiñas. The 2022 fermented and aged for two winters on lees in barrels up to their third use. Light golden yellow in hue, it opens with hazelnut, cashew and dried fruit aromas, with oak tones and a hint of dried orange. Dry, medium-bodied and delicate, it balances tension between acidity and volume. The 2022 is saline, complex and distinctive.
