The 2021 Barolo Rocche di Castiglione impresses with its poise and substance. Macerated dark cherry, cinnamon, orange peel, rose petal and licorice fill out the layers in this dense, potent offering from Roccheviberti. I would give this a few years in bottle to shed some baby fat. Overall, this is a pretty big wine from this site, but it all works quite well.
