A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% each Cinsault and Syrah, sourced from across the appellation (the Saoumas own nine different parcels in five communes), the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Omnia is redolent of rose hips, strawberries and raspberries, plus hints of star anise and black tea. Full-bodied yet delicate, silky but tannic, it's a series of complex contradictions, finishing with ripe fruit and savory spice notes on the lingering finish
