Packaged in a heavy glass bottle, the Tenuta Sant'Antonio Famiglia Castagnedi 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella Campo dei Gigli reveals a very savory character with dried fruit, lots of plum and spicy back notes that transition to tarry smoke and barbecue. The wine is full-bodied and slightly evolved due to the hot vintage conditions. It sports a powerful 16% alcohol content. It aged in new tonneaux for three years. Production is 25,000 bottles
