From the heart of the grand cru Pfingstberg, where the 35-year-old vines are still cultivated on single poles, Zusslin's inaugural 2020 Riesling Le Schild shows a very clear, slightly flinty nose of intensely aromatic tropical fruits such as mango. Dense and elegant on the palate, this is a persistently juicy Riesling with fine tannins and a complex, promising finish. 13% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine.
