A tight and intense pinot with wet earth, oyster shell, and seaweed. Dried herbs. Medium to full body. Tight and framed. Four square. Long and structured. Excellent now but better in a couple of years.
The 2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast, matured for 11 months in 40% new oak, has a pale ruby-purple color and slowly unfolding scents of raspberry, pomegranate, bergamot, aniseed and citrus peel. The medium-bodied palate offers powerful, spicy fruit and fireworks of fresh acidity, and it finishes long and gently chalky.
