RICH & COMPLEX: Echigo Sekkobai Junmai Ginjo comes from the Hasegawa Shuzouten, (Niigata Prefecture) who have been brewing sake for over 170 years. The current brewing team is all female consisting of a mother and her daughters. Echigo is brewed using Koshitanrei rice that is polished down to 60%. This is a complex sake with elegant richness with notes of dark chocolate, toasted oats, cherry blossom, and flavors of Asian Pear, banana, and yogurt followed by a touch of sweetness. Pair with rich chicken stews, roasted pork, or fatty fish.
Recommended Serving Temperature: 40°-50°F or 65°-75°F
