The 2020 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills has gregarious white peach and baking spice to begin, with touches of lime peel, flint and white flowers. The palate offers fragrant peach and lime character with juicy acidity, and it finishes with broader, honeyed fruits. 300 cases produced.

Wine Enthusiast: 91 Points

Broad white peach, honeysuckle and gardenia aromas are pillowy on the nose of this appellation blend. It's soft on the palate with the slightest edge of citrus, as clean flavors of ripe apple, peach and melon make for a complete sip. 

Vinous: 90 Points

The 2020 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills is rich, creamy and super-expressive wine that captures the style of the year. Orange peel, hazelnut, spice and a touch of new French oak shape this decidedly extroverted, sumptuous appellation-level Chardonnay. This is a pretty overt style, but it works well.
