This is a dense wine, packed with black fruits and rich tannins. The dominance of Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine its ripe, juicy black-currant flavors and good acidity. This 56-acre estate has made a wine that will age well. Drink from 2025.

Ripe blackcurrant and blackberry fruits with hints of leaves and mint lead to a palate that has assertive, oak-bolstered tannin chew and licorice undertones. Needs time. Try from 2022.

This is excellent. You can really feel the quality of the dark berry fruit, fleshed out with some attractive oak smokiness. A little short, but this will provide some lovely early to medium term drinking. Eric Boissenot is consultant to Belgian owner Baron Velge.
