Fruit from Mount Eden clone vines underwent full malolactic fermentation and spent 17 months in 25% new French oak. This is a forward, decadent Chardonnay, with aromas of toffee, roasted almonds and sautéed mushrooms. The palate texture is powerful and supple, but beautifully propped up by a spine of structured acidity. Recommended for fans of quintessentially California Chardonnay who are looking to delve into more structured showings.

The 2018 Chardonnay H. Klopp Chardonnay is a gorgeous Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. Bright and punchy, with tons of energy the 2018 bristles with so much nuance. Tangerine oil, mint, marzipan and white flowers all open over time. The 2018 nicely balances richer and more vibrant Chardonnay notes. In 2018 the Cobb Chardonnay is all Mount Eden Clone.
