The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Pawa displays a deep garnet-purple color and alluring scents of Black Forest cake, black currant cordial and blueberry compote with hints of Indian spies, menthol and espresso. The full-bodied palate is jam-packed with expressive black fruit preserves, framed by velvety tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing long and layered.

An earth-driven nose with aromas of iodine, rust and campfire ash supported by ripe black fruits. The palate is quite rich but takes a turn towards beaming red fruits with bright acidity on the finish. The tannins are present but moderate, and integrate well into the acidity.

Violets, cassis, dark chocolate and praline on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with broad tannins. Lightly bitter floral and stem flavors on the finish. Try from 2021.

Lots of chocolate, currants, cherries, and leafy herb notes emerge from the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon PAWA. Medium to full-bodied, it has a nicely balanced, elegant texture, the freshness of the vintage, and outstanding length. It's going to evolve for 10-15 years.
