The Venerable is truly the flagship product of the Groult house.  

Containing a strain of very old calvados, it is completed by eaux-de-vie over 18 years old that bring back power and freshness.  

Fineness and aromatic persistence are the main character traits of Venerable Calvados.  

The Wine Review of France 2012: 
"On the nose, the apple is there but cooked in a spicy syrup.The lingering finish is prolonged on notes of gingerbread."
