Spanish Wine Tasting
Join us for a tasting with Hunter Siedel of De Maison Selections and explore an exciting lineup of Spanish wines spanning some of the country’s most distinctive regions and traditions.
From traditional-method Cava in Catalonia and the lively Txakoli of Spain’s Basque coast to Albariño from Rías Baixas, estate-grown Rioja, and Manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, this lineup offers a fantastic look at the diversity of Spanish wine.
Hunter will be pouring:
- Avinyó Reserva Brut Cava 2022 — Traditional-method sparkling wine from organically farmed estate vineyards in the Penedès, made from the classic Catalan varieties Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada.
- Ameztoi Getariako Txakolina 2025 — A fresh, lightly effervescent Txakoli made from indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri grown on the slopes above the coastal fishing village of Getaria.
- Do Ferreiro Albariño Rías Baixas 2024 — Pure Albariño from the Salnés Valley of Rías Baixas, where Do Ferreiro farms more than 175 small parcels rooted in the region’s decomposed granite and sandy soils.
- Ameztoi “Rubentis” Getariako Txakolina 2025 — Ameztoi’s iconic rosé Txakoli, a field blend of indigenous Hondarrabi Beltza and Hondarrabi Zuri with the delicate natural effervescence characteristic of the estate.
- Remelluri Reserva Rioja 2018 — The flagship red from the historic Remelluri estate, produced entirely from estate-grown fruit from vineyards in the foothills of the Sierra de Toloño.
- Bodegas La Cigarrera Manzanilla Sanlúcar de Barrameda NV — A classic Palomino Manzanilla sherry aged biologically under flor in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, with the fresh, savory and saline character that defines the style.
