Forthave Spirits is a Brooklyn-based distillery dedicated to herbal liqueurs rooted in traditional European amaro culture. Founded by Aaron Fox and Jon Regev, the project began with a simple goal: revive the old-world practice of botanical liqueur making using thoughtful sourcing and careful production.
Each spirit starts with a blend of herbs, roots, flowers, and spices sourced from around the world. These botanicals are slowly macerated and distilled in small batches before being blended and rested to bring the flavors into balance. The process is deliberate and patient, allowing the natural bitterness, aromatics, and structure of the ingredients to develop fully.
Forthave’s lineup draws inspiration from classic Italian and Alpine digestivi while maintaining a distinctly modern identity. Their amaros and aperitifs have become favorites among bartenders and spirits enthusiasts who appreciate herbal liqueurs with depth, balance, and a clear sense of craft.
