Wild Common is a tequila project built around traditional production and a close partnership with one of the most respected distilleries in Jalisco. Founder Andy Bardon works with master distiller Salvador “Chava” Rosales Trejo at the Cascahuín distillery in El Arenal, a producer widely admired for its commitment to classic tequila-making methods.
The tequila begins with mature Blue Weber agave harvested from the highlands of Jalisco. The piñas are slowly cooked in brick ovens before being crushed, fermented, and distilled in small copper pot stills. Each step is designed to preserve the natural character of the agave and the clarity that comes from careful, deliberate production.
Wild Common has quickly earned a following among tequila enthusiasts for its transparency and traditional approach. The lineup highlights the earthy, mineral, and citrus-driven qualities of well-grown agave while maintaining balance and structure. Among the expressions, the Reposado has become a standout at Pogo’s, where our staff has unanimously named it their all-time favorite reposado tequila.
