Castle & Key Roots of Ruin Gin is a contemporary American dry gin produced at the historic Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Distilled from a rye-based spirit, the gin is inspired by the botanicals grown in the distillery's own gardens and reflects a fresh, seasonal approach to gin making. Rather than relying solely on classic London Dry flavors, it layers traditional botanicals with bright floral and herbal notes sourced from the surrounding landscape.

Juniper provides the backbone, complemented by coriander, angelica root, lemon peel, and a rotating selection of garden botanicals that may include rose, chamomile, lemon verbena, or other seasonal ingredients. The result is a vibrant, aromatic gin with notes of citrus, wildflowers, fresh herbs, and gentle spice, finishing clean with a lively, peppery lift from the rye base.
