Jeppson's Malört is a legendary Chicago liqueur with roots in the Scandinavian tradition of wormwood-based spirits. Originally developed in the 1930s by Swedish immigrant Carl Jeppson, Malört has become a Windy City icon, famous for its intensely bitter, unapologetically bold flavor and cult following.

Made with wormwood as its defining botanical, the palate is intensely herbal and dry, revealing notes of grapefruit pith, gentian, citrus peel, earthy herbs, and lingering bitterness. Its distinctive profile is intentionally challenging, with very little sweetness and a remarkably long, bitter finish that has made it a rite of passage for bartenders and adventurous spirits enthusiasts alike.
