Plymouth Navy Strength Gin (750ml)

Plymouth Navy Strength Gin is a higher-proof expression of the historic Plymouth Gin, produced at England's Black Friars Distillery, the oldest working gin distillery in the country. Bottled at 57% ABV, the traditional "navy strength" proof traces its origins to the British Royal Navy, where gin stored aboard ships needed to remain flammable if it came into contact with gunpowder.

Distilled from a carefully balanced blend of seven botanicals, the gin offers a softer, earthier profile than a classic London Dry while gaining added intensity from its elevated proof. Juniper is complemented by notes of coriander, cardamom, citrus peel, angelica root, and subtle spice, creating a rich, full-bodied palate with a long, crisp finish.

Despite its higher proof, Plymouth Navy Strength remains remarkably balanced, making it a favorite among bartenders for Martinis, Negronis, Gimlets, and other classic cocktails where its bold botanical character can stand up to other ingredients. It is a benchmark expression of the historic Plymouth Gin style and one of the finest examples of traditional navy-strength gin.
