Ragnaud-Sabourin Cognac Grande Champagne Florilège is a beautifully traditional Grande Champagne Cognac that highlights the elegance and aromatic finesse this small family estate is known for. Ragnaud-Sabourin has long been respected for producing old-school, terroir-driven Cognacs entirely from Grande Champagne fruit, with a style that emphasizes precision, lift, and long aging over heavy oak influence.

Florilège is composed of exceptionally mature eaux-de-vie aged for decades in French oak, yet it remains remarkably vibrant and detailed. The nose opens with layers of dried apricot, orange blossom, honey, candied citrus, toasted almond, and vanilla, followed by more evolved notes of walnut, cigar box, leather, and delicate rancio. There’s a floral elegance throughout that keeps the wine from feeling dense or overly oxidative.

On the palate, it’s silky and refined with tremendous length. Flavors of fig, baked orchard fruit, orange marmalade, cocoa, spice cake, and polished oak unfold gradually, supported by the chalky tension and natural finesse that often define top Grande Champagne Cognac. The finish lingers with notes of baking spice, citrus oil, and soft tobacco.
