This wine carries…elegant red berry fruit and rich volcanic crushed stone minerality, accented by bay laurel and sage…velvety-textured tannins frame layers of mocha, more bay laurel, and white pepper, adding nuance and depth. The finish is long and refined, leaving lingering notes of earth and conifer.
A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley offers a gorgeous nose of both red and black fruits, leather, graphite, and chalky minerality. Incorporating fruit from Vine Hill Ranch, Bench Vineyard in Stags Leap, and Diamond Mountain, it's medium to full-bodied and balanced, with beautiful tannins and smoky nuances. The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is terrific. Rich, ample and seductive, the 2022 is quite pliant.
