Instantly appealing pinot. Complex and powerfully fragrant with violets, blackcurrants and purple cherries, as well as fresh wild herbs and swirling spices. Then, a smooth, succulent feel to the palate follows with such sleek, fine tannins and a supple, silky run to the finish. Such a consistent wine. Drink or hold.

Translucent ruby-red. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes candied cherry, raspberry, allspice and succulent herbs, and a sexy floral note emerges as the wine stretches out. Concentrated red fruit and floral pastille flavors are supported by a spine of juicy acidity and sharpened by an emerging mineral nuance. Smoothly marries power to finesse and finishes with strong, gently tannic persistence and lingering floral and spice notes. 10% new oak.

Vibrantly structured and wiry with tension, yet polished, offering raspberry and cherry flavors, laced with basil and spice notes that take on mineral-tinged tannins on the long finish. Drink now through 2028. 1,250 cases made. 

The 2018 Pinot Noir Silice Vineyard has broody aromas of tar and dark fruits on the nose with touches of dried herbs and flowers. The medium-bodied palate is firm and fresh, its dark fruits still youthfully coiled. Give it a couple years in bottle.
