Domaine Paul Prieur Pieuchaud Silex Sancerre 2023
A family estate with over 11 generations in Verdigny, Domaine Paul Prieur is known for crafting precise, terroir-driven Sancerre. Today, Luc Prieur continues the tradition, producing cuvées from organically farmed, site-specific vineyards. The Pieuchaud bottling comes from the flint-rich lieu-dit of the same name, giving the wine its signature mineral edge. The 2023 is bright and focused, with grapefruit, lemon zest, and green apple, layered over a subtle smoky, flinty note. Crisp acidity and a clean, Saline finish keep it fresh, structured, and incredibly food-friendly. Classic Sancerre!

Jansz Premium Cuvee Brut Tasmania NV
Jansz was established in 1986 and was named after Abel Janszoon Tasman, who founded the island of Tasmania in 1642. The Premium Cuvee is a 60/40 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend which is made in the Champenoise method. All the grapes at the winery are hand-picked and undergo gentle pressing. It is aged 18 months on the lees, giving this bubbly notes of nougat and roasted cashews. There is a creamy brûlée texture, and a refreshing natural acidity giving the wine flavors of citrus, apple, and pear. This is an amazing bottle of affordable bubbly to enjoy on the regular. Cheers!
