Hanzell Chardonnay Moon Mountain District 2021
Founded in 1953 on Sonoma's Moon Mountain, Hanzell Vineyards helped shape modern California Chardonnay through pioneering winemaking, organic farming, and a commitment to expressing terroir. The 2021 Chardonnay opens with aromas of Meyer lemon, white peach, and fresh herbs, layered with green apple, subtle oak, and flinty minerality. Bright, vibrant, and balanced, it's a classic California Chardonnay with remarkable freshness and finesse. A perfect reprieve from a 100 degree day.

Eiko Fuji Honkara Sake (720ml)
"Eiko Fuji" translates to "Glious Mount Fuji", Japan's most beloved symbol. The Eiko Fuji Brewery in Yamagata Prefecture was founded in 1778 and is led by the 13th Generation of the Kato Family, Ariyoshi Kato. They helped spearhead the Craft Sake Movement in the 1970's, working with many breweries from all over Japan. The Honkara is an abbreviation for "Honjozo Karakuchi", Honjozo being a rich and robust style of Sake, and Karakuchi meaning dry. This is a great Sake to drink in the summer. It is lighter and silkier than most Honjozo (thanks to its 60% polishing ratio). There are notes of rice pudding and marshmallow on the nose with a dry and clean finish. You can serve this sake chilled, room temperature, or slightly warmed and serve with a grilled New York Strip, seared Asparagus, and Truffled Mashed Potatoes.
