Betz Family Winery 'The Untold Story' Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley 2019
"The Untold Story" is a fruit forward blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, and 7% Petite Verdot made by legendary winemaker Bob Betz. Bob had a 28 year career with Chateau Ste. Michelle, where he rose to the height of Vice President of Winemaking Research. Betz Family Winery had its first vintage in 1997, and has since won numerous awards for their high-end Cabernet offerings, including Wine Enthusiasts 2014 #6 wine in the world for the 2010 Pere de Famille. The 2019 Untold Story is lush and fruit forward, with medium tannins, and notes of blackberry, dark dried cherries, dried flowers, sandalwood, and graphite. A great pairing with backyard burgers or your favorite cut of steak.

Avinyó Petillant 'Vi d'Agulla' 2025
Avinyo is a top notch, artisinal cava house coming out of Penedes in Spain. While they are most famous for their handcrafted cavas, there is another wine they make (and drink) to get through the hot summer months, the Petillant. This wine is known as a Vi d'Agulla, which translates to "Needle Wine" due to the fact that it retains a slight effervescence from the winemaking process. Made from a blend of muscat, xarel-lo, and Macabeo, this bright, crisp wine pairs perfectly with fresh fruit, seafood, sandy beaches, and sunshine! Plus this wine is low alcohol making it a perfect afternoon sipper.
