A bright, saline Picpoul from Washington State and a crisp Sonoma Coast rosé made for patios, pools, and sunny weekends.

Gramercy Cellars Picpoul Walla Walla Valley 2024
Picpoul, which translates as "lip stinger" from the Occitan dialect of Southern France, is a crisp and refreshing high acid white wine that pairs perfectly with the hot Texas summers that are just around the corner. Though the grape has evoved to do well in the hot climates of Southern France, Paso Robles, and Texas, this example from the Les Collines Vineyard at the base of the Blue Mountains bursts with the lift and clarity you can only get from a cool climate. The nose is Bartlet pair, white peach, lime pith, and white flowers, which comes accross on the palate, along with searing acidity, and refreshing salinity. Pair this with oysters, some Texas red fish, or the closest body of water!
