Sandrone Dolcetto D'Alba 2024
Luciano Sandrone may be famous for Barolo, but the 2024 Dolcetto d’Alba proves the estate knows how to make a “simple” wine dangerously delicious too. Fresh, energetic, and incredibly drinkable, the 2024 opens with aromas of black cherry, blueberry, violets, and crushed stone. The palate is vibrant and silky with bright acidity, soft tannins, and a subtle savory finish that keeps you coming back for another glass… and another.

Marimar Estate Godello, Don Miguel Vineyard, Russian River Valley 2023
Marimar Estate has roots in Spain, and Marimar Torres named the vineyard after her late father Miguel Torres. Godello is a vibrant and mineral white native to the Galicia region in Spain, but it is thriving in a cool area of the Russian River Valley. I had the opportunity to try this wine on a very hot day in Dallas recently and fell in love with it! It is a crisp, refreshing, high acid white with notes of lemon verbena and citrus zest. I love the round mouthfeel, flint and minerality on the palate. This is one of those perfect porch pounding wines for late Spring and early Summer. This is normally only available at the winery, but we were able to nab some, so grab a bottle while you can!
