Recaredo Terrers Brut Nature 2019

A benchmark grower from Penedès, Recaredo has been crafting terroir-driven sparkling wines since 1924, long before “zero dosage” became a trend. As a founding member of Corpinnat, every bottle is estate-grown, organically farmed, and aged extensively on lees. A blend led by Xarel·lo, the 2019 Terrers Brut Nature sees over four years on lees and is bottled with zero dosage. The result is a harmonious blend of bright citrus & green apple layered with chalky minerality, a hint of toasted nuts with a long finish. A cava answer for those Champagne problems.

Long Shadows 'Pedestal' Merlot 2020

After over 20 years leading the team at Chateau St. Michelle, Owner Allen Shoup decided to venture out and start a winery that would simultaneously showcase the exception terrior of Washington, while also pay homage to other great winemakers around the world. The Pedestal Merlot was inspired by one of the great Chateau's of Pomerol, Le Bon Pasteur. This wine is 84% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Petit Verdot. It is a full bodied and opulent Merlot, with notes of blackberry, black currant, chocolate, and cedar. This wine pairs perfectly with Beef Roast, Steak, or BBQ.
