Anima Negra 'AN/2' 2023

Located on the southeatern side of beautiful Mallorca, Anima Negra blends international varietals with the islands native grapes to produce some truly outstanding wines. AN/2 is the second wine from them and blends Callet, Mantonegre-Fogoneu and Syrah together. In true spanish style, the wine is aged in a mix of 80% French oak and 20% American oak which adds notes of baking spices and dill. On the pallet, you'll find notes of dark cherries, wild raspberries, ripe blueberries, and notes of savory spices. I recommend putting a slight chill on this wine to bring out some of the natural freshness. Pair with roast duck, pork chops, or braised beef.

Les Vins de la Cadette La Soeur Cadette Bourgogne Blanc 2025

Valentin Montanet, a third-generation vigneron, travels south from his home turf in Vézelay to make this fantastic, mineral-driven Bourgogne Blanc. Montanet farms organically and takes a low-intervention approach in the cellar, resulting in an easy-drinking wine with anything but simple character. Bright and fresh, with vibrant energy balanced by notes of green apple, subtle minerality and light creamy finish.
