Alta Heights Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains 2024

This is a new addition to our California Pinot Noir set coming from high elevation vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The winery only produces about 3,000 cases of wine a year and everything is organic, hand-harvested, and unfined and unfiltered. This is a vibrant and high acid Pinot with notes of dark cherry, black raspberry, violet and plums.

Dee Duff’s Pick

Gundlach Bundschu Gewurztraminer Sonoma Valley 2024

"If you can't say Gundlach Bundschu Gewurztraminer, you probably shouldn't be driving." A slogan I always liked that used to adorn the marketing materials at the "Gun-Bun" vineyard. This is probably the most well known gewurztraminer from America, let alone California. Coming from grapes harvested exclusively at the Certified Organic Rhinefarm Estate, which the Bundschu family has been farming for over 165 years on the Southwest slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. This is a crisp fruit forward dry wine, with notes of lychee, pear, cantalope, pink grapefuit, candied ginger, and allspice. A great pairing with Korean Barbecue, Pad Thai, Tandoori Chicken, or Roast Turkey.
