Protected by thick walls, under tiles browned by the Angels, Paradise shelters the oldest qualities of the family reserve. During a long aging process in French oak barrels carefully selected for the finesse of their tannins, the mysterious alchemy takes place between alcohol, air and wood.
Description

Naud XO Fine Cognac is a polished, fruit-forward XO that balances maturity and richness with a fresher, more modern style of Cognac. Produced by the Naud family, whose roots in distillation stretch across both Cognac and rum, the house style tends to favor aromatic purity and texture over heavy oak extraction.

The blend incorporates well-aged eaux-de-vie from several Cognac crus, giving the spirit both structure and lift. The nose opens with dried apricot, orange zest, vanilla bean, acacia honey, toasted almond, and baking spice, followed by softer notes of cocoa, tobacco leaf, and polished oak as it develops in the glass.

On the palate, it’s supple and rounded with flavors of caramelized orchard fruit, fig, citrus marmalade, roasted nuts, and gentle spice layered across a silky texture. The oak remains controlled and integrated, supporting the spirit without pushing it too far into tannic or overly oxidative territory.

There’s a brightness to the fruit here that keeps the Cognac approachable and easy to return to, while the extended aging still provides enough depth and savory complexity to satisfy more serious Cognac drinkers.

An excellent after-dinner Cognac neat, but also a strong option for whiskey drinkers looking for an XO with richness and structure without excessive sweetness or oak.
