Cascahuin Tahona Tequila (750ml)

Produced in El Arenal, Jalisco, Cascahuín Tahona is an unaged tequila made from Blue Weber agave grown in the Valles region. Created to highlight traditional tequila production, the cooked agave is crushed entirely by tahona, the large stone wheel historically used to extract the agave's juices. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks with agave fiber, using naturally occurring ambient yeasts, followed by double distillation. The first distillation is performed in a stainless-steel pot still with a copper coil, while the second takes place in a copper pot still. Bottled at 42% ABV and made without additives.

The profile is distinctly agave-driven, opening with cooked agave alongside fresh mint, citrus, and earthy-mineral notes. The palate combines natural agave sweetness with bright herbal and vegetal character, touches of pepper and citrus, and a gently savory quality. The finish is persistent, crisp, and mineral, retaining the sweet cooked-agave character at its core.
