Producer's Notes: The 2018 vintage of Trailside Vineyard is the quintessential expression of Rutherford terroir. Red fruit reminiscent of raspberry, ripe cherry, and tart plum are complemented by the vineyard's distinct sage, thyme, and rosemary aromatic complexities. The texture of this wine tells the story of the vintage with soft yet pronounced tannins and a lingering finish. Throughout our storied journey, there are times when a vintage comes along that embodies the true craft, artistry, and patience of Heitz Cellar. A moment when nature provides exemplary growing conditions that complement our understanding of the terroir, the quality of our single-vineyard wines, and the signature aging process inside our stone cellar. This was first evident in our 1974 vintage, which set the standard for excellence and was adorned with a special label to commemorate the occasion. In 2018, the elements aligned once again. The culmination of over 60 years of classic winemaking and representing the pinnacle of a decade, Heitz Cellar is proud to present the Stone Cellar Collection featuring the 2018 vintage.

Next-Day Delivery
Orders placed after our same-day cutoff will be delivered the next business day.
