Revived after decades of absence, Blue Spot represents one of the most coveted expressions in the Spot Whiskey range and a return to a historic style once bottled by the Mitchell family of Dublin. Crafted at Midleton Distillery from a traditional mash bill of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled, this Irish whiskey is matured for at least seven years in a combination of bourbon barrels, sherry butts, and Portuguese Madeira casks before being bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration.

The nose is vibrant and layered, revealing aromas of tropical fruit, green apple, toasted oak, and baking spice, underscored by hints of hazelnut and dried fruit from the fortified wine casks. The palate is rich and full-bodied, balancing ripe stone fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, and dark chocolate with the lively spice and texture that come from its elevated proof. A long, warming finish carries notes of sweet oak, dried fruit, and lingering spice.
